Condé Nast Awards for Excellence: Best for Green Practises

Each year, the renowned publisher Condé Nast Johansens nominates for the Excellence Awards to outstanding hotels in different categories. Back in 2012 we were awarded best family-friendly hotel in Europe, and we were thrilled to receive the award for the best operation in Europe in the category "Green Practices".

A sustainable operational concept and our commitment to the future generations is the reason for our efforts and this award is a confirmation that it is well worth it and - even more so - that we are on the right track.

A huge thanks goes out to everyone who voted for us online! Thanks to Condé Nast Johansens for the appreciation of our work in the area of sustainability. And many thanks to the fantastic Sharla, our Condé Nast local expert, who received the prize for us on November 2, 2015 in London and delivered it to us recently.

We were not even at the award ceremony because, on October 12, our triplets Peter, Franz, and Anton were born, claiming our 24-hour attention 😃. More about our sustainability concept can be found here.
