Matinée at the Parkhotel Holzner as part of the Jazz Festival South Tyrol 2025:
The Polish word “Szelest” means “rustle.” Just like the rustling of the sea or trees in the wind, it is marked by unpredictable and unexpected disturbances – much like the chamber jazz of this ensemble. In addition to radically reinterpreting jazz standards, this Berlin-based trio performs Ronny Graupe’s compositions, with lyrics by vocalist Lucia Cadotsch, which during this concert are interpreted by Damaris Brendle.

For ten days, the festival will present bands and soloists from the young European scene and beyond, with unusual instruments and line-ups, and a wide musical spectrum ranging from rock and folk influences, free jazz and electronic sounds to quirky pop songs and Afrobeats.
