Cleaning up together near Lichtenstern

In July 2025, the Holzner joined a clean-up organised by the Ritten Tourism Association near Lichtenstern. With gloves, tools and containers, the participants set about removing old rubbish from the site.

They filled eight containers, each holding 220 litres, with scrap metal, glass and plastic. Some of the material appeared to have been there since the 1960s. The Tourism Association then arranged for it to be taken to the recycling centre.

That afternoon showed what people can achieve together: one part of the landscape was cleared of rubbish that had lain there for many years. We were pleased to take part.
