Parkhotel Holzner will re-open on april 9, 2022.

Welcome on

Renon mountain

The Holzner is located at an altitude of 1200 meters in the idyllic summer retreat of Oberbozen on the southern slope of the Ritten plateau with its breathtaking views of the South Tyrolean Mountains. The nearby cable car connects Oberbozen with the South Tyrolean capital, Bozen, and leaves the station at 4-minute intervals.

& cable car

The Renon narrow gauge railway connects the Renon towns of L'Assunta, Soprabolzano, Stella di Renon and Collalbo. The railway is not, however, only a method of transport: it is also a unique historical experience. These historical small trains, built at the same time as Parkhotel Holzner in 1907, continue to chug along over the Renon to this day and offer a fantastic view of the mountains and of the Renon itself.
The mountain station of the Renon cable car is situated alongside Parkhotel Holzner. The cable car connects Soprabolzano with the state capital of Bolzano at four-minute intervals, giving our guests the pleasant luxury of being able to leave the car behind for once. The pleasant, stress-free journey only takes roughly 15 minutes to reach the centre of Bolzano.
