Discovering Tour on the Ritten

You can visit many things during your holidays on the Ritten. Starting from the 100 years old train of Ritten (1907-2007) that is still in use, to the unique Earth Pyramids of Ritten. You can go for trekking on the Rittner Horn and for all friends of animals there is also a Lama trekking. You can reach the capital of South Tyrol Bozen in just 12 minutes by cable car and visit the world known Oetzi, the oldest mummy of the world from the ice. In the old town of Bozen you may visit the unique arcades of the Lauben and during Christmas time you can enjoy the Christmas Market.

The easiest was to discover South Tyrol during your stay, is by buying the Mobil-Card which allows you to take the buses of South Tyrol and the Vinschger train with discount. You can buy your Mobil-Card at the reception of the Parkhotel Holzner or at the Tourist Information Centre in Oberbozen.
