Renon cable car
The mountain station of the Renon cable car is situated alongside Parkhotel Holzner. The cable car connects Soprabolzano with the state capital of Bolzano at four-minute intervals, giving our guests the pleasant luxury of being able to leave the car behind for once. The pleasant, stress-free journey only takes roughly 15 minutes to reach the centre of Bolzano.
The new cable car was built in 2002 to replace the older cable car that was built in the 1960s, itself a replacement for the old rack-and-pinion railway. It is one of the world's most modern cable cars and also boasts extremely low ticket prices. As of 2011, the ticket prices do not need to concern you, as we will present you with the RittenCard.
